Donations, Gifts, Sponsorships

Major or Corporate Gifts

The Wendover Airfield restoration needs your sponsorship to help with major projects such as the B-29 (Enola Gay) hangar restoration. Gifts from individuals or companies are also needed to acquire aircraft for the museum that have been located but require significant funding.

Other funding opportunities are available for specific displays and working exhibits. Recognition for the donors, if desired, will be prominently displayed. With the 501(c)(3) exemption, all gifts can be fully deductible.

Donations are appreciated to support the many restoration efforts on the airfield.  Specific projects that are needing additional funding at this time are:

  • The B-29 'Enola Gay' Hangar.  We are working to match a large grant from the National Park Service and the 'Save America's Treasures' program.
  • The SMSgt John T. Brinkman Service Club.  John and Bobbie Nau have made a significant donation for the restoration of this club and we are in need of matching funds.
  • The Norden Bombsight Storage Building.  Restoration of this structure is well underway, but additional funds are needed for completion.
  • The Navigational Aids Building.  The exterior has been restored to an original 'tar paper and lath strip' configuration.  Funds are needed to complete the interior of the building.
