| | | Wendover Air Show fans - THANK YOU!! The 2011 air show was a success and we had a great crowd on Saturday and it was super to have Make-A-Wish families with us for both Friday and Saturday! The air show and museum would like to extend a big thanks to our sponsors - check out the sponsor page and let them know how much you appreciate thier support in keeping history alive!
Thanks to our great performers who really made the show incredible! USAF Viper West, Heavy Metal Jet Team, Dave Erickson, Seamus McCaughley, Gary Bunn, Kay Eckhart, Rene Denuit and the Ravens. And we cannot forget the airplanes who came from both Navy and Air Force bases across the country for you to walk up and check out - thanks to the following squadrons: 459th FTS, VP-46, VFC-13, VFA-151, VAW-117 and the Utah 151st ARW.
Our only sad note is that Seamus McCaughley passed away in a plane accident (not air show flying) recently - he will be sorely missed by everyone here and we send our condolences to his family and friends.
Now - we will be posting some air show photos on the photos page so please check them out!
Our sincere thanks to everyone who came out,
Wendover Air Show Committee
