Wendover's 2010 Air Show announces the return of the Viper West F-16 and the addition of the Navy F-18 Hornet Demo!

Event Schedule

9:00am Gates open
9:00am to Noon Base tours on vintage WWII Six-track
9:00am to 4:30

Static aircraft exhibits, tours of SMSgt John T. Brinkman Service Club, Wendover Wheels Car Show, National Guard climbing wall and drag race car, flight simulators.

10:00am Military Vehicle Parade - Tribute to Jack Tomlin

  • When: September 25, 2010; 9:00AM - 5:00PM (Mountain Time)
  • Admission Price: $10.00, $5.00 for youth (ages 6-12), age 5 and under are free.
  • Tickets: Discount coupons will be available at Burger King restaurants.
  • How to get here: From Salt Lake City – Head West on I-80 and obey the speed limit! As you approach Wendover you take the first Wendover exit on your right. It will bear left and cross over I-80 then head West onto Wendover Blvd. Proceed West on Wendover Blvd to the Shell station and make a left hand turn. You are now headed south cross over the railroad tracks and continue south – watch for parking signs and volunteers who can direct you to parking.

      • Very little! We will have a hangar open to get out of the sun, but highly recommend a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses
    • What happens if there is inclement weather?
      • September is a great time in Wendover as the weather is typically mild. However, the show goes on rain or shine and there are no refunds.
    • Are pets allowed?
      • Service Animals only – please leave your pets home – we will not allow them in the show and it is too hot in the car for them.
    • Are cameras allowed?
      • Yes.

  • How to volunteer for the show
    • Historic Wendover Airfield has many opportunities for you to volunteer during the air show! The Airshow is a fun way to get involved to help raise money and awareness for the Wendover Museum. While you are working you can feel, hear and see the excitement all around you. We are looking for adults, 18 and older, to volunteer their time to work in the following positions: ticket sales, working admissions, directing traffic, ushering, parking cars and various other positions. We need volunteers to be available for a minimum of 8 hours.

Hours of Operation: The operations center, fueling service and museum are all open from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm - 7 days a week, but to visit the museum, arrive at least 1 hour before closing.
